The 25-year-old, who represented Ireland in the 2012 London Olympic Games, will follow Arthur Lannigan-O'Keeffe in the modern pentathlon in August.

Both Coyle and O'Keeffe claimed gold at the Pentathlon World Cup in Florida in May, beating Katsiaryna Arol and Mikalai Hayanouski of Belarus to the top honour with a strong finish in the combined event.
