Annalise Murphy dropped into studio for tonight's Off The Ball to look ahead to next week's Rio Olympics and the lads got her feelings before jetting off for the Olympic Village.
"I've been out to Rio a lot over the last three years," she said. "I've been nine times already so [Monday] will be my 10th time."
With regards to the water she'll be hoping to win gold on she said: "It's a little bit murky. The first couple of days you get a bit shocked and then after that you get used to it. it's actually grand.
"There's the odd dead fish but it's nothing too bad. Nothing major, you get used to it... But it's something everyone has to deal with. No one has gotten sick from it. I've drank litres of the water just getting splashed in the face, much to the shock of our doctor."
She cast her eye back on the London Games in 2012 where she finished agonizingly just outside the medal positions.
"In 2009 I didn't even think I'd qualify for the London Olympics, Rio was what I was thinking about. Then suddenly in 2011 I started getting all these really good results and I qualified for the Olympics so it all happened really quickly.
"Since then I've made Rio my sole goal for four years and when you have one week as your sole focus for four years you kind of want it to come sooner rather than later.
"People were asking me in 2013 how preparation was going for Rio and I just said 'Well, it's three years away still'."
In terms of expectation, Murphy says that she doesn't want to put too much pressure on herself.
"I want to go over there and sail to my potential. I don't want to get ahead of myself and I just want to race well in every single race. I've got 11 races to do. I want to finish each race and know that I didn't hold back. You know, attack each race. That's what I'm going to be happy about. If I do that in every race the results will look after themselves.
"Obviously everyone wants to go the Olympics to win a medal, that's the reason everyone goes. There's 10 girls in my class who are good and who can medal. So I have to race better than them... But I want to race and prove that all the training I've done up to now has been worthwhile."
