Mo Farah put his doubters to rest as he claimed his fifth World Championship gold medal in the Birds nest Stadium in Beijing this afternoon.
The British athlete's reputation had been under scrutiny after his coach Alberto Salazar was linked with doping.
Farah, who has already won the 5,000m and 10,000m double at the 2012 Olympics and the 10,000m title in Beijing, earned his his seventh straight global victory.
Farah by no means had it his own way with Kenya's Ndiku leading with 200m to go but Farah's ability to kick on prevailed and he stormed home for the win with a time of 13:50.38.
