Eoghan Clifford joined Jason Smyth on the Irish medal table on Friday as he clinched a bronze at the Paralympics in Rio.
The cyclist won the medal in the Individual C3 Pursuit, starting strongly and finishing with 1.3 seconds to spare over his closest competitor.
Although he recorded a slightly faster time in his heats, the Galway man still did enough to add to Ireland's medal tally at the Games, after Jason Smyth once again claimed gold on Friday afternoon.

Despite the fact that he had just sealed his third consecutive win and cemented his place as one of the greatest athletes to compete at the Games, Smyth was in no form to announce that he would be hanging up the spikes.
The Derry sprinter said afterwards that: "I don't feel like I've kicked on from where I was in London, and I know that I very much can, and I'm capable of it. This year, I've always had in my mind that this is Year One of my five-year cycle heading into Tokyo."

Ireland's Nicole Turner also put in a strong performance on Friday finishing with a personal best time of 37.31 seconds, finishing in fifth place in the 50m butterfly final.
