Barcelona defeat against Granada in La Liga is "worrying"

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez says their loss to Granada in La Liga last night is "a worrying defeat, a defeat that hurts."

The Catalonians lost last night in the Spanish top-flight 2-0, against the team that now sits on top of the table. They were behind within two minutes thanks to a strike from Ramon Azeez, before an Alvaro Vadillo penalty after 66 minutes sealed the victory.

Barcelona only had two shots throughout the 90 minutes, with just one effort getting on-target - however, they enjoyed 74 percent of the possession.

It's their second defeat of the season, after an opening day 1-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao and leaves them in eighth position - three points off the top, and one behind arch-rivals Real Madrid.

Speaking afterward to AS, former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez said, "it's a defeat that we have to take a real good look at. There are lots of things that we have to improve. There's a long way to go yet, but these are the types of games that win you the title.

"We have to be tougher if we're going to win the league. We have a tough year ahead of us. What we have to look at is the way we're playing as the away side because of the lack of cutting edge and chances are worrying.

"We're Barcelona, and we have to go out there to win the game - we can't start the way we did."

The Spanish giants are going for their third La Liga title in a row. Real Madrid could be on the top of the table following this weekend's round of games, if they beat Sevilla away from home who are in second place
