Emery's Arsenal successor, Fabinho absence and West Ham keeper crisis

It looked inevitable and so it's proved! Arsenal's Europa League defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt was the final straw for the Gunners board.

They've acted and sacked manager Unai Emery on Friday morning and for the time being club legend and Invincible Freddy Ljungberg is stepping in temporarily.

There is a possibility that the Swede could remain in charge long-term. But there are other leading contenders to succeed Emery in the Emirates hotseat.

This week on the Paddy Power Half Hour, we discussed Emery's fall as well as who might replace him in the long-term.

Fixtures

Arsenal face Norwich at the weekend which we also previewed. But there are plenty of other enticing games to look forward to.

Liverpool host Brighton, while Man City visit Newcastle where they slipped up last season.

Meanwhile, Everton and West Ham's managers Marco Silva and Manuel Pellegrini also appear to be on the brink after poor runs of results respectively.

Jose Mourinho has won two in two at Tottenham. But they have been porous at the back before the visit of Bournemouth. With his last club Manchester United up next after that, will Mourinho make it three from three?

Phil Egan, Enda Coll and I discussed all those talking points and more which you can watch above.
