Team Ireland is guaranteed at least one more medal at the Olympic Games.
That's after Aidan Walsh secured progression to the semi-finals of the welterweight competition in the early hours of Friday morning.
The Belfast man produced a dominant display against Merven Clair of Mauritius to claim success in their quarter-final bout.
Walsh emerged as the winner on a split decision, with four of the judges' cards calling the fight in favour of the 24-year-old.
He has the chance to upgrade his medal to silver on Sunday.
Pat McCormack of Britain provides the opposition in the last four.
McCormack is the number one seed.

Another Irish medal hopeful is also through.
Kellie Harrington advanced to the quarter-finals of the lightweight division with a comfortable win over Rebecca Nicoli.
The Dubliner - who is the top seed - was the winner via a unanimous decision.
Like Walsh, she now has the chance to secure at least a bronze medal on Tuesday next.
Algerian Imane Khelif provides the opposition.
In athletics, Thomas Barr is off to a positive start after advancing through his 400-metres hurdles heat.
The Waterford native finished second in a time of 49.02 seconds.
Disappointment
There was disappointment for some of Team Ireland's other athletes, however.
Nadia Power, Louise Shanahan and Siofra Cleirigh Buttner did not advance beyond the 800-metres heats.
The hockey team also know what they need to do to progress further in the competition.
The concession of a late goal to India led to a 1-nil loss on Friday morning.
Sean Dancer's side now need to beat Great Britain tomorrow to have any chance of making the last eight.
On the water, Annalise Murphy was unable to repeat the form of Thursday.
Her Olympics is over after finishes of 30th and 40th on Friday in the final two qualifiers.
It means an overall placing of 18th - outside the top-ten that secure progress to the next round.
Hope
Golfers Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry moved into medal contention following their second rounds.
They're within three shots of the lead after Friday's play.
McIlroy carded a five-under 66, with Lowry one shot better after a 65.
The leader is Mexico's Carlos Ortiz on ten-under.
