Ronda Rousey will make her long awaited return to the octagon on December 30th, when she faces Amanda Nunes to contest for the bantamweight belt she held for so long.
Rousey elected to take a break from the sport after losing her title in 2015 to Holly Holm at UFC 193. The belt has switched hands twice since then and is currently settling in the palms of Amanda Nunes.
Rousey will challenge to reclaim the belt at UFC 207 and the anticipation surrounding her return is palpable. She has previously mentioned her intent to retire soon and winning her UFC title back is understood to be one of her primary goals before stepping away from the sport.

This promotional video has triggered a largely divisive reaction. Many argue that there is an excessive focus on Rousey's comeback, while others see this as a justified approach given her contribution to the introduction of female UFC fighters, as well as the length of her absence.
@BrendanSchaub I watched the ufc 207 promo and unsure of who Ronda 'the baddest woman on the planet' is fighting? Didn't show her. Help?

All of those in the MMA bubble who seemingly don't understand why UFC 207 and all it's promo's are Rousey centric, need to get a fuckin clue

I find it extremely bizarre that all these @UFC 207 promos only focus on Ronda and very little about the champion @Amanda_Leoa

The UFC also released a separate UFC 207 preview video which does feature the reigning champion Nunes.
