USA have set themselves up for a showdown with Portugal next Sunday following last nights 2-1 win over Ghana.
Hertha Berlin's John Brooks late header earned the Americans the win. Clint Dempsey had put the Americans in the lead in the first minute but Gyan equalised for the Ghanaians in the second half.
Former St Patrick's Athletics, League of Ireland XI and New England Revolution midfielder Ryan Guy, who has worked with their coach Jurgen Klinsman in the past, joined me earlier to discuss last night's game and their next encounter with Portugal on Sunday.
